Despite headwinds, many general spirit of collaboration and momentum, companies are ready and willing to assess the racial reckoning of 2020 still top of mind where they stand in their work towards Black and top of corporate agendas. [...] They are public and companies that participated in the BEI are private, small and large, and span industries concerned about the outcome of the case from healthcare and tech to banking and and its implications for workplaces. [...] At 8 in 10 companies (81%), the CDO or head of diversity reports into a member of the C-Suite, a symbolic and operational decision showing the work of the DE&I team is valued and supported.
