Impact assessment study on the making available and placing on the market of detergents

The overarching objective of this study is to provide input to the impact assessment accompanying a legislative proposal on the revision of the DETREG. Specifically, the study should: • Update the problem analysis from the Evaluation of DETREG, providing quantitative and qualitative evidence to support all the elements of that problem definition; and provide a detailed and updated analysis of the EU detergents market. • Measure and compare the possible impacts of different options addressing the issues identified in the Evaluation and any other issues deriving from the application/ implementation of the regulation in the last sixteen years.
