You will undertake a range of digital communications activities to increase awareness of and participation in Yoorrook processes such as: designing and developing social and multimedia content; live tweeting public hearings; monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of digital communication; and responding to and developing Yoorrook’s online community. [...] • Moderate and manage all communication with the public via social platforms, including comments and direct messages, and engaging with the community in a respectful and informative manner. [...] Work closely with the communications team, legal, policy and research team, and community engagement team to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to social media activities. [...] • Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative, innovative and culturally safe workplace culture that supports strong connections across the organisation and lives up to Yoorrook’s values and mandate. [...] • Experience working with Aboriginal communities and organisations, and/or understanding and awareness of Aboriginal self-determination and cultural safety.
