[...] However, we do not know about how the intensity of exposure to the reform based on the historical presence of undocumented students in an institution –- affects the education outcomes of these students, and the pricing policies of the institutions affected by the reform. [...] To sum up, the results of this paper support the effectiveness of the reform in improving the education outcomes of eligible undocumented students. [...] Thus, in my setting, the reform dummy interacted with the pre-treatment share of undocumented immigrants in a state captures the intensity of exposure of the treated state to the reform, and not just the presence or absence of the reform in the state. [...] As mentioned in the data section, I obtain the number of un- documented students in each institution by deducting the number of documented students from the total number of non-resident aliens, reported in the IPEDS data.
