Intellectual property (IP) handbook :Providing IP guidance through the EEN client journey

31 Jan 2024

Intellectual property has become a key building block for the commercial success and competitiveness of many companies – and especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – as modern economies are increasingly driven by knowledge-based services and products. For this reason, while delivering services to SMEs, all the advisors of the Enterprise Europe Network should always consider intellectual property and its potential impact as well as implications for the clients. This guide was written by intellectual property experts with the aim of providing all EEN advisors with guidance and support they can rely on in carrying out activities within the Enterprise Europe Network project: it underlines the key aspects to take into account when assisting a client in creating a POD profile, participating in an international fair or accessing European funds, for instance.
