Report on exports and imports in 2022 of chemicals listed in Annex I to the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) Regulation

In accordance with Article 10, paragraph 1 of the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 649/2012), EU exporters and importers must inform their designated national authorities (DNAs) about trade in PIC Annex I chemicals in the preceding year, by 31 March of each year. In accordance with Article 10, paragraph 3 and Annex III to the PIC Regulation, each EU Member State should then provide ECHA with aggregated information so that ECHA can summarise the data at EU level and make the non-confidential information publicly available. This report summarises the trade activity in 2022 of chemicals listed in Annex I to the PIC Regulation, based on the data received from the Member States and the United Kingdom regarding trade from and to Northern Ireland (only).
