The objective of the study is to provide the exploratory analysis of the road traffic accidents in the Punjab during last five (2015-2019). [...] This method usually uses the income of the individual at the time of the incident as an indicator of the individual’s contribution to the economy and calculates the present value based on the potential productive time lost. [...] The choice of methodology would necessarily depend on the availability of data and the purpose of calculating an estimate of the cost of road traffic accidents. [...] These cities are the economic hubs of their respective regions and over the decade, the government has initiated/completed number of mega projects of road and mass transit to ease the mobility and safety of the citizens. [...] However, the vulnerability to the road traffic accidents of the citizens of these cities is greater than the rest of the province.
