SDG Blueprint on Sustainable Agriculture - POLICY BRIEF

The approach of this study leans towards an exploratory exercise to understand the synergies and trade-offs between sustainable agriculture and SDGs and implications for policy and praxis. [...] Subsequently, the methodology involved stakeholder and policy mapping, illuminating the key players and policy interventions relevant to the nexus between sustainable agriculture and SDGs. [...] The culmination involved consolidating inputs and conducting a detailed analysis of the findings, ensuring a robust and nuanced exploration of the study’s objectives. [...] A vulnerability matrix can be developed by Climate Change and Sustainable Agriculture: Monitoring, Modelling and Networking (CCSAMMN) and National Mission on Strategic Knowledge for Climate Change (NMSKCC) to map and track the amount of productivity lost in agriculture due to slow-onset events and devise methods on how international funds can compensate for the loss to the farmers.
