pathways; based on the rate at which the value and coverage of the grant is increased.3 In all three scenarios the BIG constitutes a grant provided to BASIC – covers individual adults from the age of 18 to 59, with no conditionalities. [...] In the model the BIG scenarios are funded by different mixes of a small wealth tax, a Social Security Tax GUARANTEE – introduced towards the end of the decade,4 and the additional government provided as a right.
