Launch of the Sustainability Innovation Lab In November 2023, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) announced the launch of the Sustainability Innovation Lab (SIL) based in Singapore, in coordination with the IFRS Foundation. [...] The aim of the publication is to support more efficient reporting for companies using both the IFRS SDS and the GRI Standards. [...] The RFI sought feedback on: • The strategic direction and balance of ISSB activities; • The criteria for assessing which sustainability-related matters (including topics, industries and activities) to prioritise and add to the ISSB’s work plan; and • The scope and structure of potential new research and standard-setting projects. [...] The ESRS disclosures and the TNFD recommendations are aligned, among others, in the following ways: • Both are organised around the four pillars of the disclosure recommendations of the TCFD.
