[...] The manual states that the Recruiting and Selection Section commander is responsible for the selection of troopers and that the Recruiting and Selection Section coordinates recruitment activities and background investigations. [...] The primary components of the hiring process that MSP uses to assess the character, and potential bias, of applicants are the background investigation and the hiring interview.
