The hub of the IENE consists of the General Assembly (GA) of the members, the Governance Board (GB) to execute tasks and missions according to decisions in the GA, and the Executive Secretariat contributing to their implementation and communicating with the members and all cooperative bodies. [...] Such effort will promote the mainstreaming of biodiversity conservation in the practice of construction and operation of transport infrastructure and will encourage the transport industries and conservation communities to work together to support the process of global sustainable development. [...] The aim of the Asia-Europe Transportation Ecology Forum is to bring together the experiences and knowledge of Asian and European countries in the field of transport ecology research and practice. [...] THE TOPICS OF THE FORUM In pursuit of bringing together the experiences and knowledge of Asian and European countries in the field of transport ecology research, the Forum invited organizations and experts from Asia, Europe, and all over the world to prepare and submit abstracts on research or practices related to transport ecology focused on Asia and Europe. [...] He is member of the Governance Board of IENE since 2010, the IUCN/ Connectivity Conservation Specialist Group/ Transport Working Group, and an external expert of Managing Authority of Region of Western Macedonia and the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH).
