[...] Zooming out, when comparing the data from Djibouti with parallel data collected in Somalia, the results reveal a far higher rate of experiences of abuse reported by respondents in Somalia (88% compared to 48%).7 Similarly, 82% of respondents in Somalia identified locations inside the country as dangerous, in contrast to 54% of respondents in Djibouti.
