That is why, the chosen theme of the Twelfth Session and Communities of the World Urban Forum (WUF12) is “It All Starts at Home.” The concept of “home” extends beyond the physical structures that shelter us to encompass the cultural, social, economic and environmental dimensions of daily life. [...] It is a two-way process where global cooperation and governance and agree on a the local meets the national and the global, and vice Pact for the Future. [...] It creating new mechanisms to listen to and empower does so by delving into the nexus between inadequate the most marginalised urban populations, as well as housing and inequality in cities, and identifying building and regaining trust and legitimacy, are critical tangible, concrete solutions that have successfully for sustainable, affordable, inclusive and resilient served and empowered the most.
