In the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and the SDGs, RIS made seminal contributions to the understanding of the global Technology Facilitation Mechanism (TFM) and eventually made a policy proposal on STI for SDGs at the Think20 forum during the Japanese Presidency of the G20 in 2019.
