Results from Myanmar Firm Monitoring : Round 15 (English)

The Myanmar firm monitoring survey (Round 15) was conducted from April 20, 2023, to May 8, 2023, encompassing a nationally representative sample of 500 firms. The survey spanned various areas of Myanmar, divided into five zones: Yangon, Mandalay, Chin and Dry Zone, Delta and Coastal Lowland, and the Hilly Zone. The survey comprised samples from different sectors: agriculture (17 percent), manufacturing (32 percent), retail (18 percent), and services (34 percent). Notably, the survey encompassed micro and small firms alongside larger and formal ones. Micro firms comprised 45n percent of the sample, while small firms accounted for 40 percent. Medium-sized firms constituted 13 percent, with large firms representing 3 percent of the sample.
