The objectives of the study were to: § assess the use of, access to, and accessibility (universally designed), affordability, and availability of ICTs for persons with disabilities in South Africa; § investigate the barriers for persons with disabilities in the use of ICTs; § review policies and regulations that seek to promote the use of ICTs by persons with disabilities in South Africa; § assist.
