Article 89 of the Constitutional Law on the Constitutional Court stipulates that if the Court “ascertains that the participants in the elections act contrary to the Constitution and the law, it shall inform the public over the media, if needed warn the competent bodies, and in case of violation which influenced or might have influenced the results of the elections, shall annul all or separate elec. [...] In the resulting legislation, the number of constituencies and elected representatives have remained the same, while some constituencies were enlarged mainly due to depopulation.12 The Ministry of Justice and Public Administration informed the ODIHR NAM that the process of adoption of the new law was preceded by a public consultation period. [...] The Constitutional Court informed the government that the updated law fulfils the constitutional requirements for the equality of the vote. [...] The primary responsibilities of these lower bodies include the designation of polling stations, the appointment and supervision of Voting Committees, and making all material and logistical arrangements for the conduct of the election. [...] The ODIHR NAM noted stakeholder confidence in the professionalism and impartiality of the election administration in organizing the elections and in the integrity of election-day procedures.
