[...] On 26 October 2023, the Board of Directors headed by the Minister of Planning and Economic Development formally approved the establishment of the SSC umbrella, ensuring for the first time in Egypt the structured and institutionalised engagement of the private sector in skills development. [...] Since the amendment of the law and the appointment of the new NAQAAE president in mid-2023, a new unit has been set up to overlook the implementation of the NQF.
