JLI and SBF completed a further two hub publications in 2023: an annotated bibliography on MHPSS, Culture and Faith in Syrian Communities, and a report on the outcome of the listening dialogues held by the Hub in Türkiye and Syria in 2022. [...] South East Asia Hub on Humanitarian Response, Human Trafficking, and Faith In 2023, JLI partnered with the International Network of Engaged Buddhists (INEB) and the Spirit in Education Movement (SEM) in Thailand to establish a new Hub examining the role of faith actors in responding to migration and human trafficking at the Thai-Myanmar border. [...] UNICEF regional SBC representative introduced the FPCC initiative and JLI presented the mapping results to the audience; due to time constraints, it was a very brief presentation of the main results and challenges identified in the Latin American and Caribbean context. [...] Throughout the year, the Network had two major funding successes and secured a total of £300,000 for joint research in Burundi, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines in 2023 and 2024, with Emma being Principal Investigator and Jayeel and Jennifer amongst the Co-Investigators of the project. [...] The Episcopal Church in the Philippines (ECP), Joint Learning Initiative on Faith and Local Communities (JLI), the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), and the World Resources Institute (WRI) Faith and Sustainability Initiative.
