Regional : Toward Sustainable and Conversion-Free Aquaculture in Southeast Asia

The technical assistance will promote sustainable and conversion-free aquaculture and improve the export performance of key marine commodities in Southeast Asia through policies and technical interventions, including research, capacity development, and knowledge support. The TA will focus on shrimp and seaweed, which are important commodities in the region. It will (i) help mitigate the impacts of shrimp aquaculture feed in Indonesia by promoting accountability and transparency in the feed supply chain, and (ii) improve seaweed cultivation and value generation among seaweed farmers in Timor-Leste and help increase ecosystem services and ocean health.
