[...] An internal roadmap is then proposed to guide strategic advocacy by Shelter NSW to raise awareness of the purpose and impact of ethically conscious housing initiatives, promote opportunities for greater support for these, and continue the ongoing identification of innovative approaches for enabling a more equitable housing system. [...] This list was used as a starting point to develop and refine the definition of ethical housing and to generate the taxonomy of ethically conscious housing (Table 3) that can enable future initiatives to be analysed and assessed according to this framework. [...] Each housing initiative has been selected because it is: • Innovative in the way it addresses a gap in the provision of affordable housing and seeks to facilitate a more equitable housing system. [...] • Key and essential workers construction costs, • Incentives to the market inflation and other • Individuals with a disability, carers, Aboriginal and Torres to pick up ideas to conditions make it Strait Islander people, and single women, trans people and promote sustainability, challenging to deliver.
