Asia-Pacific countries' ballistic- and cruise-missile proliferation pathways have largely mirrored those of European states, but their participation in regimes aimed at managing the spread of such technology has been patchy. This report surveys the ways in which states in the Asia-Pacific have acquired and in some cases exported missile technology, and the extent to which they have engaged with international arms- and export-control measures.
