To meet a high demand, the MDDIAI is ready to launch a new round of the grant program in November 2020 leveraging its wide network of development institutes (Zerde, QazInnovation, Garysh Sapary, Astana Hub) which is expected to boost the pipeline and quality of applications. [...] US$3.5 mln (37% of the subprojects’ budget) – a firm indicator of a strong market demand for the program. [...] As of October 2020, 3 of the 6 Productive Sector Consortia have reached the first sales of KZT 1,035 bln (US$2.4 mln). [...] MDDAI plans to start the implementation of the activity right after the completion of the project extension procedures. [...] The disbursements include payment of consultant fees for the design of the Innovation Observatory (US$100K) and overhead expenditures (US$37K).
