[...] Kakehashi Project The word “kakehashi” means “bridge” in Japanese, and the Kakehashi exchange program — supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and facilitated by the Centre for the Study of Global Japan and the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada — aims to build connections between the participants and increase their understanding of each other’s cultures, peoples and politics.
