The key is to make to commute, to the houses we choose to live everyone wanting to do it, not forcing every- in, the jobs we choose to do, and the words one to do it, and to understand what they really we choose to speak. [...] First, we demand that the government recognizes that the climate crisis is happening here in Myanmar and in the world, and that they take action against the climate crisis. [...] For the rest, they don’t have the power and the resources to change anything, and often they also don’t have the knowl- edge to consider these things. [...] It was the Chipko and Appiko movements of the mid-seventies and eighties – in which village women embraced trees to - prevent them from being cut – that drew our attention to the consequences, in women’s lives, of the devastation of the environment. [...] The necessity to create a shift in oneself, There is a need to decolonize ourselves and relearn, one’s life and ways of thinking, and not only the re-align and regain these practices, and in turn begin content of thoughts, was a powerful motivation to to break military, neo-capitalist and technocratic reach a point where one is now.
