The objectives of this committee are to steer the cost CoP by planning and implementing Army, Tri-Service, and Department of Defense (DoD) cost engineering activities that are necessary to ensure effective, reliable development of all cost estimates and communicating pertinent information to the Cost CoP. [...] This committee will address all topics of importance to the USACE cost engineering CoP, such as roles and responsibilities; personnel staffing; training and career development; policy; procedures; automated information systems, including cost engineering software applications, maintenance and collection of historical data, and the future development of cost databases; standardization of final cost. [...] The committee will also interact with other elements of the USACE, as well as other elements of the greater cost engineering and related CoPs within the DoD, the Tri- Service, and the Army.
