Evaluation study of the European framework programmes for research and innovation for an innovative Europe :Executive summary

The Executive Summary presents key findings from the “Innovative Europe” evaluation study, supporting the interim evaluation of Horizon Europe. The study assesses the extent to which interventions and actions supporting innovation under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme achieved their objectives, what worked well and less well. The programme parts analysed in this study are: the European Innovation Council, the European Innovation Ecosystems, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology Knowledge and Innovation Communities. The study also includes an analysis of the contribution of the whole Framework Programme to the Innovative Europe objectives, including the Joint Research Centre actions.
