Given the current composition of the Supreme Court, it is possible that the Court will find DACA unlawful and consequently terminate the policy, leaving this population without the ability to work and vulnerable to deportation. [...] The Presidents’ Alliance has compiled several resources to support access to employment-based immigration pathways for DACA recipients and other Dreamers on the Legal Pathways that Work resource hub of the Higher Ed Portal. [...] The listserv is for students and alumni in higher education, faculty and staff of colleges and universities, and other interested parties to learn and share information about employment-based visas for Dreamers and D-3 waivers. [...] The Legal Pathways that Work initiative of the Presidents’ Alliance on Higher Education and Immigration seeks to increase non-citizen college students and graduates’ access to employment-based immigration pathways through the development and sharing of educational resources, piloting legal services, and an H-1B fellowship program. [...] Our mission is to support and enhance the well-being of the University of California community and to advance equity and success in higher education through the provision of free, high-quality immigration legal representation, outreach, and education to undocumented and noncitizen students, immediate family members of UC students, and UC staff with DACA or other temporary status like TPS.
