Policy Brief: Implementing California’s Universal Financial Aid Application Policy

Initial results of California’s new policy indicate that it will help improve college access among low-income, Latino, and other historically underrepresented students. School districts can address application barriers by prioritizing system-wide support, partnerships with community organizations, data sharing, and student incentives.
