And like the people we serve in the region, the people involved in AIMS have the commitment, the energy, and the spirit to succeed. [...] Alberta, and the state of healthcare in Canada For the Love of Nova Scotia, Let's Focus on the Economy: The Ivany Report One Year Later 11-Feb-2015 On 11 February 2015 AIMS hosted a half day, two-panel symposium and a dinner at the World Trade and Convention Centre. [...] It was clear from the podium at the AIMS For the Love of Nova Scotia event, and from the 250 participants of the afternoon symposium and the 300 guests of the dinner event, that business and community leaders are committed to addressing the major issues facing Nova Scotia's economy. [...] The forum supported the notion of increasing health literacy through campaigns conveying clearly the most important concepts in healthcare, helping the public to focus on fundamental questions such as the purpose of health care, the measurement of results and the crucial issue of evaluating the likely benefits and harms of proposed treatments including in mental health and the evaluation of public.
