Through support of child sponsors and other donors we were able to continue to improve the lives of children and their communities in Cambodia, Vietnam, Nepal, Uganda and Kenya in 2018. [...] Our girlʼs group provides a platform for girls to learn the dangers of child marriage, and the womenʼs watch groups and the police are providing support in handling cases of child marriage and accessing justice. [...] The pupils and their parents have started replicating the knowledge and the skills they had acquired in their gardens at home leading to improved food production both in school and their homes. [...] The urban poor are marginal communities who migrate to the city and live in slums as squatters on the periphery of the capital. [...] In 2018, the fund donated to a water and sanitation project in a school in Sindhupalchok district of Nepal and a water borehole in Nwoya district of Uganda.
