[...] An accurate assessment of various factors, including the types of construction prevalent in the area, the volume of existing legacy waste, and the projected influx of C&D waste over the next 25 years, is essential for determining the feasibility and effectiveness of such facilities. [...] This shows that a thorough analysis of the technologies and materials prevalent in the region is important to judge the quality of recycled products that will be produced and how that is likely to affect the economics of the system.
