The reason I chose ‘EU Migration and Asylum Law and Policy’ summer school is that, it provides a global understanding of the European Migration and Asylum policies from a legal perspective and supports me in an intellectually stimulating manner. [...] As a dedicated early-career practitioner in immigration and asylum law, the Summer School on European Immigration and Asylum Law and Policy represents an invaluable opportunity for me to deepen my knowledge and engage with contemporary issues and policy developments in this critical area of law. [...] I believe that the knowledge I will gain at the School could help me carry out my responsibilities with a higher level of professional competence, ultimately aiding a large number of people in the area of asylum and migration. [...] While supporting these students and the community in the refugee camp, in 2021, I got a full funding scholarship through University Corridors for Refugee (UNICORE) to pursue my master’s degree in Italy at the European University Institute and graduated in 2023. [...] In this role, I supported the design of the education pathway for refugees in Europe and the dissemination of the project.
