What data the Inquiry needs to collect, and the legal basis for processing it: Purposes of data collection The purposes for which the Inquiry collects and processes your personal data are the effective conduct of the public inquiry into the events surrounding the Grenfell Tower fire of 14 June 2017 and discharging the Inquiry’s duties pursuant to the Inquiries Act 2005.
