Through the MGs coordination mechanism, CSOs can interact and negotiate with the business and industry group within the UN ECOSOC context regarding the final details of the national implementation of SDGs. [...] Therefore, the partnership is necessary for the CSOs to engage in the policy debate and in the monitoring of governance practices. [...] The next section of the paper describes and discusses how governments and businesses can collaborate by creating collective action that incites cross- stakeholder collaboration, be this in the form of government and business or business with civil society partnerships in the context of the 2030 Agenda. [...] gaining positive recognition among stakeholders in 8 economies of scale: the larger the project, the larger the governmental relations target group reached, the higher the likelihood of the initiative’s long-term sustainability and success 4. [...] The authors of this paper are convinced that, while the implementation of the SDGs relating to environment like climate change (Goal 13), life under the water (Goal 14) and life on land (Goal 15) are putting ever greater demands on the governments, business and civil society, all stakeholders need to cooperate and share the common goal of supporting and contributing to the implementation of the SD.
