On September 12, the Embassy of Afghanistan in Norway announced that it is closing and its assets will be placed in the custody of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs until a new government is established in Afghanistan.4 This was followed by the closure of the Afghan Embassy in the United Kingdom on September 27.
