3.5 Privacy 3.5.1 In broadcasting a news Program or Current Affairs Program, a Licensee must not broadcast material relating to a person’s personal or private affairs or which invades a person’s privacy, unless: a) there is a public interest reason for the material to be broadcast; or b) the person has provided implicit or explicit consent for the material to be broadcast (or in the case of a pers. [...] 7.3.6 If a Code Complaint is about a broadcast that the Licensee is aware is the subject of threatened or formal proceedings in any Court or Tribunal in Australia, where the Licensee or any of its agents or employees is a party or intended party, then the Licensee may choose not to treat the matter as a Code Complaint, provided that the Licensee acknowledges receipt of the complaint in writing and.
