The longer the current war lasts, the more urgent the question of how to create a lasting post-war order in Gaza and the West Bank becomes. [...] Not only with regard to the security of the Jewish state in the face of the threat from Iran and its allies, but also for the question of what will become of Israeli democracy. [...] This applies to deal with the Israeli settlements as well as the situation in Jerusalem, the almost complete loss of trust in the other side and the new regional dynamics. [...] At the same time, the aim is to further promote the normalization of Israel's relations with its Arab neighbors in the region and to pave the way for a more comprehensive peace order in the Middle East. [...] At the center of the project is the establishment of an expert group and the development of a network of change-minded actors from Israel and the Palestinian territories, supplemented by experts from Germany, the EU, the USA and the moderate Arab states.
