The variations in wages across occupations were determined by the demand for the industry’s products and services as well as the availability of required skills, which in the Philippines may be hampered by the “lack of formal education and training on the managerial and technical aspects of printing and publishing” (Tullao & Habaradas, 2001, p.15).
