WHAT: The African Union’s Social Welfare, Drug Control and Crime Prevention Division within the Department of Health, Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development, in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Madagascar, will host a 4-day continental capacity-building workshop focused on combating synthetic drug trafficking in Africa. [...] • Work Plan Development: The workshop will conclude with the development of a work plan aimed at enhancing drug trafficking surveillance, promoting the rule of law, and improving responses to synthetic drug-related challenges in Africa.
