Thus, the actions of these two countries in this region radically diverge: while Moscow occupies the Georgian regions (Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region), annexes Crimea, promotes separatism and war in eastern Ukraine, and opposes the integration of these countries with the West, Ankara supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and Ukraine, opposes the Russian occupation of the te.
