With cooperation from the Ministry of Women and Child Development,17 the Law Commission completed the review of a number of laws under the National Plan of Action.18 These include the Children and Young Persons Act,19 the Affiliation Act,20 the Marriage Act, the Divorce Act,21 the Penal Code,22 the Wills and Inheritance Act,23 and the Adoption of Children Act.24 The government also enacted the Pre.
