By expanding such circles of efforts from Tokyo to the rest of Japan and beyond to the world, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will contribute to the achievement of the SDGs. [...] Project for Solving the Missing Link to Enhance the Speed of Travel Working to complete the expressway network, we will promote efforts to open the Tokyo Outer Ring Road (Gaikan) between the Kan-etsu Expressway and Tomei Expressway and fully open the Metropolitan Inter-City Expressway (Ken-o-do) and make it four lanes at the earliest possible time, and work with the national government and relevan.
