GRCG Brief No. 1. The war in Ukraine, in all its dimensions, is producing alarming cascading effects to a world economy already battered by COVID-19 and climate change, with particularly dramatic impacts on developing countries. The world’s most vulnerable people can not become collateral damage. The GCRG Briefing Series will help decision makers to mobilize solutions and develop strategies and recommendations to help all countries, including the most vulnerable, to weather the interlinked crises. This first Brief provides an overview of this three dimensional crisis (on food, energy and finance systems) and provides a series of policy recommendations.
