[...] Facilitated the commitment to sustainable urban transport policies and implementing measures for green, smart and safe urban transport through the adoption of the Bangkok Declaration on the City and Transport: Safety, Efficiency, and Sustainability, with the participation of 30 ESCAP member countries and 28 international organizations, academia, research institutions and civil society organization. [...] In engagement of target stakeholders on the impacts and value of empowerment, including the pandemic recovery process, the exercise of access public participation, for strengthening rights can enable the enjoyment of environmental rights, implementation of SDGs in Asia and the Pacific, particularly on environment-related which could become a catalyst in the delivery of the 2030 SDGs.
