This report summarizes Elsevier’s efforts to positively impact
inclusion and diversity in the research community, which were
supported by the Elsevier Inclusion and Diversity Advisory Board over the past 2 years. The focus of
these efforts were the people participating in research and publishing,
the manner in which research is conducted and reported, and the
breadth and depth of the research itself. Our mission is to help
researchers and healthcare professionals advance science, solve the
world’s problems and improve health outcomes for the benefit of
society in order to achieve a more equitable and sustainable world.
