[...] ISSUE 7 July 2022 COVID-19 Awareness campaign and rehabilitation of Al Qahtania Al-Oula Primary School As part of the EU-funded project titled “Support for Urban Recovery and Peacebuilding in Western Ninewa, Iraq”, UN-Habitat has started the rehabilitation of Al Qahtania Al-Oula Primary School in Tel Uzair, Ba'aj District. [...] Support to Returnees in Iraq after the Outbreak of COVID-19” is conducting vocational training in Sinjar in partnership with “We need to focus on the inevitable escalating urban crises. [...] The participants are being trained by qualified trainers from the Vocational Training Centres of Mosul and Tikrit and will receive a work certificate from the department upon completion of their training and apprenticeship period.
