39 A Torn Safety Net the Jewish community in Cornwall spoke powerfully about how the lack of children and young families, attributed directly to the local housing market, was something that would negatively impact their collective ability to practise some of the rituals and festivals of the Jewish faith, for which children are a key part: “One of the central lessons that we’re given in the Torah i.
