Part I is introductory and presents an overview of the assignment that is guiding the preparation of this Durban+10 synthesis report, the aim and objective of the assignment, the approach and methodology, the delivery modalities and the scope of work involved. [...] In Part III, the report examines the UN CoP framework, the summits and their major milestones and achievements, highlights key decisions from CoP17 and CoP26 and reviews decisions of all the CoP summits over the decade from 2011- 2021 in the context of the climate change challenges facing sustainable agriculture and food systems. [...] 6 II.4.2 Analysis of Results With respect to the survey questions on COPs and agriculture and food systems, the summary of the responses are as follows: 1) On a scale of 5-0 (5=excellent, 0=Not aware) kindly rate the extent to which the Government/ Ministry of Agriculture is aware of the major decisions in the area of agriculture and food systems reached at CoP17 – CoP26. [...] In 2005, Parties to the Kyoto Protocol decided that the two frameworks are also applicable to the implementation of the Protocol, and the SBI was then mandated to monitor and review progress on the implementation of the frameworks under the Kyoto Protocol as well. [...] The PCCB and the Durban Forum report on their work to the COP through the SBI at the sessions of the SBI held in conjunction with sessions of the COP.
